Quick Start
Four short steps to begin. Keep it simple and fast.
Upload or Create
Upload a PDF or create a script. We parse characters and lines for you.
Open Your Script
Go to My Scripts. Open a script and pick your character when prompted.
Set Voices
Assign voices for other characters. Two ways: on My Scripts, click the three dots on a script card → Choose Voices . Or on the practice page, open Settings → Character Voices .
Note: While audio generates, you can return to the practice page. When ready, start rehearsal via Settings → Rehearse on the practise page or click the Rehearse button on your script card on the My Scripts page.
Rehearse
Start rehearsing. The reader waits for you. Practise, pause, and continue anytime.
Note: You must choose a character and set voices first. The Start Rehearsal button appears after both are set.
Set a Goal (optional)
On My Scripts, set a learning goal to auto-build a daily plan.

- Open actions via three dots on each card.

Upload Script
Upload a PDF. We detect characters and prepare scenes.
Look for Upload New Script on My Scripts.
Script Builder
Create a script from scratch. Add scenes and lines manually.
Use Script Builder on My Scripts.
Character Voices
Assign voices per character, switch basic/enhanced, and test selections.
- From My Scripts: three dots → Choose Voices .
- From rehearsal: Settings → Character Voices .
Open a script first to access these options.
Rehearsal
Unified rehearsal with an intelligent reader that waits for you.
- In rehearsal, open Settings (top right) for character and voice options.
- Start Rehearsal appears after you choose a character and set voices .
Open a script and press Rehearse to start.
Script Metrics
Detailed stats for a single script: time, accuracy, trends and recommendations.
Open a script and choose Metrics from its menu.

Script Parsing Process
- Upload your PDF script
- CueMe automatically identifies characters and dialogue
- Review and edit the parsed content if needed
- AI generates voices for all characters
- Your script is ready for rehearsal!
Note: Script parsing isn't 100% accurate since scripts come in many different formats, but we've built it to handle most common formats. If there are errors, you can fix them in the script edit page. If the parser is producing significant errors, please submit a request through our contact form and we'll get in touch to help improve the parser for your script format.
Editing Your Script
After uploading, you can:
- Edit character names and dialogue
- Add or remove script lines
- Reorder scenes and dialogue
- Save changes and regenerate audio

Text Display Options
- Normal: Shows full lines of dialogue
- First Letters: Shows only the first letter of each word
- First Letters (All Caps): Shows first letters in capital letters
- Blanks: Shows the first letter and blank spaces
- Hide Lines: Completely hides the text
Use the dropdown in the header to switch modes.
Line Detection
During rehearsal, your lines are detected and compared to the script to help you progress smoothly.

Enhanced voices offer higher quality. If unavailable on your device, basic voices are used.
Can I download my rehearsals?
Currently, CueMe focuses on live rehearsal sessions. Your progress and statistics are saved in your account for tracking improvement.
What if it doesn't recognise my lines correctly?
Try speaking more clearly and in a quiet environment. You can also manually advance to the next line using the controls if needed.
